The holiday season brings up memories of holidays past

For me, they are often memories of wonderful food and recipes from my farm bed and breakfast. I have been writing Chloe’s Blog since 2007 and have gathered some great old family favorites and some new and exciting recipes that my mom never heard of.

I know she had no clue what Cranberry Liqueur was. And when I wanted a Cranberry Liqueur Recipe in 2007, I could not find one. So I set out and made my own.

Here are seven of my favorite holiday recipes published on Chloe’s Blog over the years. I hope you’ll give them a try and let me know how you like them.

		Honey Glazed Pecans If you must take an appetizer to a party, this is the perfect one to take. You can make this ahead of time and I have never brought any of these Honey Roasted Pecans home. I make them from pecans grown here on the farm.
		Bourbon Pecan Pie Great desert recipe for any holiday occasion. Not only is this Pecan Pie a real treat, but it is gorgeous if you bake it in the special pie pans and add some artistic touches. Great either way but a real feast for the eyes.
		Homemade Vanilla Extract This easy to make vanilla extract is great for cooking and it makes a great gift for the holidays. And it wows folks that you are so clever.
		Pumpkin Bread Recipe This tasty bread recipe made from canned pumpkin is moist and a great crowd pleaser. I love to add things to the bread like my homegrown pecans or homegrown blueberries.
		Cranberry Salad Recipe If you like cranberries, you will love this cranberry salad. This colorful, tart cranberry salad is guaranteed to be the prettiest dish on the table.
		Warm Brie Recipe with Fig Preserves Appetizer Warm brie with fig preserves makes a great appetizer- guests will definitely come back for more. I use the fig preserves that I make from figs grown on the farm, but you can buy them at the grocer’s.
