					<description><![CDATA[Thank you for sharing these snapshots back to the 60s and 70s.&#160; I remember your life at Blounts Creek, and the other side of the Pamlico,&#160;the sheep, and all the other cast of&#160;characters that congregated on that side of the river and on my side.&#160; I recall too that&#160;when the mood would strike I set off on a two and a half mile swim from Shady Banks to the girl scout camp on the other side of the river.&#160; I don&#039;t seem &quot;fit&quot; to do that these days and it is a good thing I always swam with a life preserver back then, and my flippers, or I might not be here today to remember those days.
